Do you speak excellent English and enjoy working with people? Join McGee’s Entertainment, a Prague-based travel agency with 20 years of experience. You can combine tour guiding with your studies or regular employment and continue working with us throughout the year on a long-term basis. No previous experience is required – we will teach you everything you need to know.
What will you do?
- Lead guided tours of historic Prague in English, following our established routes and tour scripts.
- Present the city's history and culture in an engaging way and create enjoyable experiences for international visitors.

Who are we looking for?
- Excellent English skills and the ability to speak confidently in front of a group. Knowledge of Czech is not required.
- Good communication skills, an interest in history, reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
- Availability for at least 2 tours per week and an interest in cooperating with us for at least 6 months.
- Time for November training and independent study, and readiness to start guiding independently from December 1, 2026.
The position is also suitable for international students and foreigners living in Prague.
Recruitment Process and Training:
Online interviews: Until October 31, 2026.
Training: Once a week, every week in November, approximately 2–3 hours per session; theoretical and practical preparation, i.e. 4 training sessions in total.
We will train you for one of the following tours, depending on your availability and interests:
1. PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL AND ABANDONED CEMETERY
This tour takes place in English at 2:00 PM (Wednesday, Sunday), and in Czech as needed and by prior arrangement. Duration: 3 hours.

2. PRAGUE CASTLE AND CANAL RIVER CRUISE
This tour takes place in English at 1:30 PM (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). Duration: 3 hours.

3. OLD TOWN AND JEWISH GHETTO
This tour takes place in English at 10:30 AM (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). Duration: 2 hours.

An important part of the training is independent study of the provided texts. Participants must learn the tour commentary so that they can conduct tours in English according to our routes and standards. From December 1, 2026, successful trainees must be ready to accept tours according to the agreed schedule.
We are offering our final introductory training programme for new guides. Further training will be offered only to existing guides to expand their qualifications.
Type of Cooperation
Exclusively on a Trade Licence (živnostenské oprávnění / IČO) basis. We do not offer employment contracts, DPP, or DPČ agreements.
